Fibres are probably the most extensively used security feature embedded in paper. Fibres have appeared in paper for hundreds of years.

Advances in counterfeiting mean the traditional invisible fluorescent colours, such as blue and yellow, are now too easily reproduced by conventional printing techniques and more recently by ink-jet printing.

An answer to this has been to introduce fibres with colours that are more difficult to produce such as invisible fluorescent reds, bi-fluorescence, or IR reflectance. However there's still a large demand for some of the simpler fibres and we're happy to manufacture a wide range of colours and sizes for you.

In addition we've made a significant improvement to 'mono-colour' fibres and can now produce fibres with other effects for you too.
